Home aide insurance covers hospice and other organizations that provide non-skilled, in-home services for the ill and elderly. Non-skilled services are those that don’t require the skills of a nurse. Typical home aide services include house cleaning, meal preparation, transportation and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing and eating.
Some home aide agencies are franchises and others are independent businesses. Both kinds of home aide agencies are growing as more entrepreneurs are attracted by the demographics of the aging population. The HCCIS program offers a list of franchise organizations that are approved for our program.
Home aide insurance is similar to home healthcare insurance. For more information, see home healthcare agency insurance.
