(January 3, 2012) Glatfelter Program Managers, a strategic business unit dedicated to Glatfelter Insurance Group’s program business, is very pleased to announce the acquisition of a Senior Living programs from Bunker Hill Underwriters Agency effective 1/1/2012.
The Senior Living book consists of all lines (except workers’ compensation) for skilled care, assisted living, independent living, continuing care retirement communities and group and personal care homes. Senior Living will be grouped with our HCCIS program under a new brand and division known as Glatfelter Healthcare Practice.
The Senior Living book is underwritten by QBE and Beazley.
We have the good fortune to welcome the entire team of underwriters and claims managers currently handling this business to Glatfelter Insurance Group as new associates. Underwriting and claims will be executed from our new office in Houston, Texas. Our new associates are known in the industry for their underwriting and claims experience and attention to client service making the acquisition a great cultural fit. |
